Suture suspension techniques

Suture suspension techniques such as the Silloutte procedure use anchored sutures to grasp the tissues and elevate them. It can be done in the office and has a very short recovery period. Patients who want a more subtle change in the mid face and lower face and need minimal downtime are ideal candidates for this procedure.  This is not the "threadlift" which featured sutures that tended to break and loose their effectiveness over time.  The silloutte suture is a specially designed suture that contains special anchor points along the suture which promote local fibrous tissue to grow around the suture.  The results can last for many years.  The procedure uses small incisions hidden in the hairline and is used primariiy to elevate the midface and early jowel formation.  In just 1-2 hours time, a patient can have a totally refreshed appearance.

Mid facelift

The mid facelift is a procedure to improve the look of the cheekbone area as well as the area underneath the eyelids. It restores fullness to these areas and restores the cheek tissues to a more youthful position. The procedure involves a small incision in the scalp (hidden in the hairline) above the ear and the skin is elevated to the level of the cheekbone. Another incision is frequently made in the lower eyelid hidden in the eyelash line.  Elevation of the sagging midface soft tissue and repositioning the sagging lower eyelid can make a dramatic yet natural improvement in the facial appearance. This procedure is often combined with a browlift and neck lift to have the complete "RENU LIFT" total facial restoration.  This procedure is performed as an outpatient procedure under anesthesia with about one week of downtime.

Brow-lift

The brow-lift is a procedure designed to elevate the brow to a more youthful position relative to the eyelids. A brow-lift will make the eye complex appear more open, youthful, and refreshed. Elevation of the brow lifts the sagging brow off of the upper lids and is frequently performed with upper eyelid lift.  The procedure involves an incision hidden in the hairline. The brow is released from its attachments that are pulling it down and the brow is elevated and held up with sutures fixed to the skull.  It is performed as an outpatient procedure with about a week of downtime and long lasting natural appearing results.

Lower Facelift

One area that patients most frequently desire correction for is the lower face. Gravity, combined with the reduction in the supporting layer of the face and neck, causes the lower face to sag and hang. The skin becomes thinner as does the layer of fat beneath it. Certain areas tend to accumulate unwanted fat deposits. The lower facelift procedure moves the skin of the face up and back and replaces the fatty deposits to their natural elevated position. The excess skin that has developed over time is trimmed. The incision is hidden directly in front of the ear and continues down and behind the ear. The modern techniques used by the physicians of RENU allow for minimal dissection and elevation with much less bruising, swelling, and downtime.
