Facelift

Suture suspension techniques
Suture suspension techniques such as the Silloutte procedure use anchored sutures to grasp the tissues and elevate them. It can be done in the office and has a very short recovery period. Patients who want a more subtle change in the mid face and lower face and need minimal downtime are ideal candidates for a threadlift. The procedure can be performed on the mid-face, brow, or lower face. In just 1-2 hours time, a patient can have a totally refreshed appearance.
Mid facelift
The mid facelift is a procedure to improve the look of the cheekbone area as well as the area underneath the eyelids. It restores fullness to these areas and restores the cheek tissues to a more youthful position. The procedure involves a small incision in the scalp (hidden in the hairline) above the ear and the skin is elevated to the level of the cheekbone. Another incision is made either inside the mouth or in the lower eyelid. The tissues are elevated from the cheekbone and lifted to place the cheek in the youthful elevated position. The tissue is then fixed under the scalp incision. This procedure is often combined with eyelid surgery to rejuvenate the lower eyelids.
Brow-lift
The brow-lift is a procedure designed to elevate the brow to a more youthful position relative to the eyelids. A brow-lift will make the eye complex appear more open, youthful, and refreshed. The procedure involves several small incisions hidden in the hairline. An endoscope is introduced through one of the small incisions and the operating instrument through the other. The brow muscles and connective tissue are surgically released and elevated. The skin incisions are closed after fixing it in position. With the endoscopic brow-lift procedure, there is no long scar, no ‘pulling back’ on the forehead skin, and no hair loss. Results are natural and long-lasting.
Lower Facelift
The area that patients most frequently desire correction for is the lower face. Gravity, combined with the reduction in the supporting layer of the face and neck, causes the lower face to sag and hang. The skin becomes thinner as does the layer of fat beneath it. Certain areas tend to accumulate unwanted fat deposits. The lower facelift procedure moves the skin of the face up and back and replaces the fatty deposits to their natural elevated position. The excess skin that has developed over time is trimmed. The incision is hidden directly in front of the ear and continues down and behind the ear. The modern techniques used by the physicians of RENU allow for minimal dissection and elevation with little bruising, swelling, or downtime.
